Beer with Grapes - A Night of Beers Made with Wine Grapes

  • Social Kitchen & Brewery 1326 9th Avenue San Francisco, CA, 94122 United States (map)

The annual crush for winemakers is a time for brewers to collect beautiful grapes to ferment alongside our barley sugar resulting in truly unique seasonal wine-beer hybrids. We've compiled a list of local breweries partaking in this wonderful tradition. These beers are beautiful, unique, and very scarce.

Since it's Valentine's Day as well, we'll have some fun couple-friendly snacks to partake in while sip these truly exotic creations (food menu coming soon).

This year's house beers:
Saison du Sauvignon 2015 Vintage - Saison fermented with sauvignon blanc grape must and aged for 18 months in stainless.

Saison du Sauvignon 2016 Vintage - Saison fermented with sauvignon blanc grape must and aged for 5 months in stainless

Guest Beers:
Magnolia Pub & Brewery Rosebud 2016 Vintage - Experimental ale brewed with English grains, fermented with Belgian Abby yeast, spiced with lavender, grains of paradise, and rose petals. Fermented with freshly crushed Syrah juice and skins. 7.0% abv
