Brewmaster Kim Sturdavant hails from Eugene Oregon, but has called San Francisco home for over thirteen years now. Kim worked at Marin Brewing Company for five and half years under the great Arne Johnson. Here he learned the importance of balance and finesse while crafting beer. He emphasizes using the highest quality ingredients and letting them shine. Kim is hugely inspired by the beers of England, Belgium, and Germany but insists that many of Social’s beers are simply a culmination of many cultures and are thus truly “California” beers at the end of the day. Approachable, interesting, and complex is his mantra.

Chef Becca Beltramo is from the Bay Area and takes pride in using locally sourced ingredients and seasonal specialties in her cooking. After completing a degree in English Literature from the University of Washington, she found her passion for cooking and went to Culinary school at San Francisco City College where she graduated with honors. Chef Becca most recently worked at Canela Bistro Bar, an up and coming Spanish Tapas restaurant in the Castro, as a Sous Chef where she showed her creative capacity through new innovations and menu specials. She has also interned at Quince, a two Michelin Star restaurant with Chef Michael Tusk. She has always had a green thumb and loves growing her own produce and using the freshest ingredients and has a playful idea of how to utilize produce in unique ways. Although Chef Becca takes roots in Mediterranean cooking, she loves the whimsical quality of elevated comfort food with a twist!
